The Northern Lakes Manager is an official publication of the Midwest Aquatic Plant Management Society. The bylaws of the MAPMS state that the purpose of this Society is to "assist in promoting the management of aquatic vegetation, to provide for the scientific and educational advancement of members, to encourage scientific research, to promote an exchange of information among members, and to extend and develop public interest in the discipline”.
Any reference to product brand names or specific technologies is not to be construed as an endorsement by this Society or the newsletter editorial committee.
