The Ohio and Indiana Lakes Management Societies welcome NALMS to the Midwest’s “Queen City,” Cincinnati, Ohio. The City rises on the shores of the Ohio River. Which, to better serve modern navigation, was impounded. As a result, those impoundments now function like a series of lakes. Cincinnati is also home to a burgeoning craft-brewing industry that is certain to be a focus for member outings. Attendees will find plenty to see, do and learn during their visit. Thomas More College’s field station, several urban reservoir projects, and an EPA research facility are located nearby. The region is also bordered to the North by the Great Lakes and the conference theme is well served by recent cutting-edge efforts to understand and manage Lake Erie’s eutrophication issues.
Join us at one of the nation’s most opulent masterpieces of art-deco architecture, the Hilton Netherland Plaza, which is a short walk from the convention center.
